The different thickness of the two ends symbolizes the different characters of Don Quixote and his squire Sancho Panza . The body of the Writers Edition is in shiny brown lacquer, decorated with the writer's signature. The hand-crafted 18-karat gold nib bears the refined engraving of the silhouette of a mill.
